We aim to accomplish this vision by offering excellent services such as Spoken English classes, IELTS and SAT preparation, and also intercultural experiences for those pursuing further education in the USA or Canada.

History— First incorporated in Mumbai in 2016, owners and directors Sharon Strawhorn and John Paul have launched ACCESS as a working resource center for students seeking to study abroad. In 2017, the business moved to Bangalore, and in 2018 opened a new office in the Kammanahalli area. With more than twenty-five years of education experience, as well as almost the same amount of time spent overseas, Sharon Strawhorn has helped many students from Asia prepare for study in the USA. Countries she has worked in include the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and India. Co-owner John Paul is also trained in ACCESS materials and has almost twenty years of experience of work experience in the US and India. He has helped students over the last five years in putting together startup business ventures.

Focus—Our staff helps students by focusing on their individual educational needs. We offer privatized teaching and tutoring opportunities to meet them at their academic level. We challenge them to commit to study and practice on a consistent basis in order for them to achieve their learning goals. Students will be kept informed of scholarship opportunities that they may be eligible for. We can also help connect them with universities in the US and Canada. In addition to aiding students with their academic needs, we encourage them to be a part of intercultural activities to get to know the culture they are moving towards. These take place during different US related holidays, such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and more.

Results—Toward the end of their learning experience, students should see improvement in IELTS and SAT scores, confidence in English speaking, and better awareness and understanding of a new culture. This will be the basis of success in students ongoing journey in progress in study and work in the US or Canada.
